And since I know nothing about dictatorships and I know oodles about potato chips, that's what I'll be writing about today.
In many of my previous posts, I've alluded to a love of these delicious snackables. After the jump, please find a variety of advice related to potato chips.
Potato Chip Question #1: What Types of Chips Should You Buy For Children?
Recently, through a rather silly set of circumstances, I found myself at the grocery store with 50 dollars in my hand. I had to spend all 50 dollars on snacks for the End-of-Season Softball Pizza Party. Needless to say, I was delighted, but I had to think about what chips to buy. After all, these are 12- and 13-year-old boys here: they can eat a lot of potato chips. Here's what I settled on:
- Utz Party Mix
- Cheese Puffs
- Cool Ranch Doritos
- Smartfood
The all-around favorite: Cheese Puffs. Can't beat a classic.
Total Shocker: They did not TOUCH the Party Mix. Rando.
I'm glad I bought: Smartfood. They ate almost all of it, wtf.
Cooler in 5th grade than they are now: Cool Ranch Doritos.
They asked me why didn't I buy: BBQ Chips.
Potato Chip Question #2: Best Chips Ever?
Munchos. No Question.
Potato Chip Question #3: Which Chips Would You Most Like to See Back on the Shelves?
Okay. I can't find any evidence of this anywhere on the internet -- but I know in my heart that when I was a kid (around the time of Crystal Pepsi's hotness) there was a type of popcorn you could buy that had butter, cheddar cheese, and caramel all mixed together.
Besides that, I'd really like to see more Cheetos Paws. The Mayor and I were talking about them recently, which prompted me to see what I could find about them online. It turns out she and I aren't the only ones pining for these delicious, paw-shaped, dangerously cheesy snacks.
Also, I'd like to see the Pop Secret Pop Qwiz back on shelves. Rememer that awesome commercial?
"KELLYq & a" runs on Wednesday mornings. For more information, click here.

-The reason I personally hate Party Mix is because instead of coming off as what it's supposed to--a delicious mix of everything--it is, unfortunately, way too pretzel-heavy; also, everything is narstily covered in the powder and salt and whatnot from the other elements.
-MUNCHOS RULE.
-Holy shit, wouldn't it be great if they brought Pop Qwiz back and we could eat it while watching the new episodes of American Gladiators??
