I've got this huge term paper due on Friday and my post is due on Friday as well, but I know I won't get my paper done if I'm busy thinking about my fave Ben Song. Last week I used a line from my favorite Ben song to title my post. If you haven't noticed, I ALWAYS use a song lyric for my post. So I would like to think I inspired this week's theme, although Tori claims she's had this planned for a while. Regardless, since I've been writing pages and pages on the Public Broadcasting Act of 1967, I figured I could take a short break to write about my favorite Ben Folds song. And even though "Brick" takes place on my birthday, it's way too depressing to write about. Instead, I'm going to write about Ben Folds in general, because he's awesome and I took my Mom to one of his shows a couple of years ago and even SHE enjoyed it. (My mother tends to only like music from before 1829, unless it's the Beatles, so that's a hell of an endorsement.) Also, I realize that as much as I sweat 'ol Benny, most of you love him way more, so this trivia should be super easy for you. Sham on!

d. Nostradamus' prediction came true
c. The 2004 Presidential Election. And the winner is a bastard. (Well not technically, but you catch my drift.) And from what I found above when I googled Nostradamus, I guess D is a bit true too...but that was for in 2000.
2. Who directed the "Rocking the Suburbs" video?
a. Al Gore
b. Weird Al Yankovic

7. According to the true story in the song "Not the Same," what happens if you take acid and then climb a tree?
a. You fall off and crack your head
b. You make friends with all the squirrels
c. You become one with nature
d. You decide to be a born-again Christian
d. Apparently a guy Ben knows climbed a tree after taking acid at one of the bassist's parties and when he came down the next morning, he decided to devote his life to Jesus. And that photo is not of him, but was entitled "male student climbing tree." I figured it was appropriate. Although I wish he was as cute as that puppy and kitty photo.
Emily's Trivia Quiz runs Fridays at 9:00 a.m. Her paper is due Friday at 4:00 p.m. Sometimes writing her blog postings takes longer than writing her papers. But not this paper.

employment of the expression "sham on" = top notch.
