There have been few weeks where typing the theme in YouTube's search bar hasn't rendered something of value to post. Not surprisingly, New Jersey was one such theme, thanks to its all around worthlessness as measured in units of patheticosity per square mile. The next most logical thing to do, I figured, was to search by names of New Jersey cities that I know. The first that came to mind was glorious Trenton, but it produced nothing all that spectacular, and all I took away from that search was that there are actual, real humans that decide to name their son Trenton, and those sons for some reason decide not to shorten it to Trent. Also, there is a high correlation between this name and membership in a fraternity (one of the videos had a description that read "Trenton, you're my bro and I hate to do this to you, but I have to post this:").
The next one I tried was Camden, hoping at least for some gang violence footage (instant comedy), but that too yielded nothing. Hoboken turned up one video that caught my eye, a clip from something called "9/11 Eyewitness Hoboken." YouTube is, of course, a great source for credible and well-corroborated 9/11 documentaries, so I had to check out the description:
Here is the 1 hour TV special presentation of 911 Eyewitness "Hoboken" that was shown in LA last June. A staggering documentary whose evidence is avoided by every debunking entity. Simply watch,
remember simple science and you will waken.
Unfortunately I didn't get around to actually watching the video, but I'll give 3:1 odds that they blame it on the Jews. In the coming week I plan to brush up on my simple science, and maybe next week I'll post it and we can all "waken."
Before running out of Jersey places I knew, I tried "Pine Barrens," "Bergen County," "Midland Park," and "Pennsville," which only taught me that there is a disproportionate number of car fires in Pennsville, or, at least, a disproportionate number of people who want to post videos of car fires. The net result of all this is that I couldn't find one damned New Jersey video worth posting. I've always been looking for an excuse to post this, though, so let's just pretend it took place in, like, Rutgers or something:
I love this kid.
YouTub runs on Thursdays at noon.

Oh man, you know what you should have posted? VIDEO OF THE CADETS OF BERGEN COUNTY. Well, I guess they're just called The Cadets now . . . and they're actually based in Allentown, PA, BUT they're like, one of the greatest drum corps ever. They got 2nd place at this year's DCI world championships and they co-hold the highest score in the history of the DCI championships. I actually HATED this year's Cadets show, but their 2005 show was hella sweet: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2387459566714335576

Just some random kid with a loop pedal. I don't remember why I was searching Usher on YouTube though.
