If you learned anything from reading my posts you know I love trivia (obvi), traveling, and foraging through my basement for old toys. When I was younger, my family went on quite a few road trips. And as an only child, I had to keep myself entertained in the backseat for hours--and this was before the age of in-car DVD players. Or DVDs at all, actually. Hell, even if they did exist when I was ten, there is NO WAY my family would have bought me that. I can see my dad now telling me that looking out the window is more interesting anyway. Now there's no way my kids are getting that either. Meanwhilez, the parental units had to keep me occupied in the backseat, without me being too loud so they could hear their fave Barbara Streisand Broadway album. What to do? Well, if you combine my loves, you get...
Brain Quest!
The perfect traveling companion for the nerdy only child. I recently
found the 4th, 5th, and 7th grade editions in my basement (apparently I
was too cool in 6th grade...) and although the theme this week is art,
I am moving out of my parent's house on Sunday, and would find it kind
of lame, even for me, to take three sets of Brain Quests to graduate
school. On that note, I am going to try and find the arty-ist
questions in Brain Quest, which will mostly be from the "Grab Bag"
category, which we know is everyone's favorite. I'll let you know the grade too, so you feel like a really smart 5th grader.

That concludes this week's ridiculously easy trivia challenge. Now, here's my chance to brag. Three of us bathtubbers took part in a pub trivia quiz Wednesday night. Not only were we victorious (I credit my weekly quizzes for keeping us in the zone), but we were in the lead the entire game AND we beat a SEVEN TIME Jeopardy! champion. That's right, he won 5 times in the old days when you could only win five times and then they kicked you off, and then played again in that super-duper Tournament of Champions they had a few years back. So watch out pub trivia nights, there are three champions in your midsts. And we take down giants.
Emily's Trivia Quiz runs Fridays at 9:00 a.m. Study up so you can be a champion like us.

W00T for our trivia team!!! Still high off of that one. Which is good, because it made me barely notice that I didn't know the answer to a couple of these questions.
