Note: This is a special Internet Potato edition of Nerdish Leanings. The theme being revisited is "marriage."
I know that it may seem odd that I, KELLYq, giver of sage advice and bastion of all things cool and awesome, am writing Nerdish Leanings for Justin Douglas this week. I know it may take some adjusting for you to accept me as a nerd, but trust me, I'm nerd enough to handle this challenge.
Today, we're going to play a little game called "Marry, Chuck, or Truck." Well, actually, it's not called that, but for the sake of Lauren's mom (Hi, Mommy Beth!) we're going to say Truck instead of a word that might fit better.
If you haven't played the game before, the rules are simple and explained after the jump!
Rules for Playing "Marry, Chuck, or Truck"
Given three options of possible prospects for marriage (see that connection to the theme? Marriage!), you must decide which of these you would marry, which one you would "chuck" or throw away, and which one you would "truck" or hook up with one time with no commitment / follow up.
Got it? Okay, awesome. Now, in honor of Justin Douglas and all that is nerdy, I give you three sets of Hot Nerds. I'll give you my picks and a brief justification. Enjoy!

Marry: Max Fischer
Chuck: Agent Mulder
Truck: Mike Mussina
While, as a young girl, I lusted over David Duchovny (I told you I was nerdy), I feel like marrying him would be really annoying. He'd always be telling me that the truth is out there and ranting on like a little dork. See?
Very Annoying. No, I feel that Max Fischer from Rushmore would be a much better choice. He'd write plays in my honor and sabotage other people that like me, and I dig that. And while I adore Mike Mussina, I could never marry a Yankee. Ew.

Marry: Albert Einstein
Chuck: Issac Newton
Truck: Tycho Brahe
This is all based purely on looks. Einstein is hot, Newton is a little too pretty for me, and while I like that Tycho has a gold (actually, copper) nose, I think I'd get sick of it / grossed out.

Marry: Professor Frink
Chuck: Comic Book Guy
Truck: Milhouse
Comic Book Guy is revolting. Professor Frink would make me presents. Milhouse - well, I feel like trucking Milhouse is on par with community service, and who doesn't like making the world a better place? Enjoy the internet potato-ing, everyone!
KELLYq usually writes "KELLYq & a," which runs on Wednesday mornings. For more information, click here. For more information about "Nerdish Leanings," click here.

Ahh, the old guild-truck. Who hasn't been the recipient of one of those?

I don't know what a guild-truck is. I meant to write, a "guilt-truck," which I hope is self-explanatory once you replace truck with the word that normally follows in Chuck, "Truck," or Marry.
