I know very little about marriage. Facts I know about marriage:
- It's important to think about it before you do it.
- You get fat, sometimes because you birth children.
- You get lots of presents and you get to pick them out yourself.
- Getting divorced is probable and annoying. (Thanks, DC!)
That's about it. Another thing I know about marriage is that it's
important to stay until the end of the reception even if there's not an
open bar because you will get FREE CAKE. I love cake. I bake cakes
frequently, and am quite skilled at decorating them (annotated evidence after the jump). This week, the mayor came to visit me at work because she was doing a research project on stressed-out teachers and unruly children. Her presence was welcome not only because her mere presence intimidated my students (like cats, they are afraid of strangers), but because she brought cupcakes.
These are two of the many cakes I have made this year:

As you can see, I take my cake decorating very seriously. Another thing I've been taking seriously lately is teaching, because due to certain procrastinative measures taken last week and an upcoming end to the school year, I've suddenly found myself with a lot to do. Lately, I have been teaching the little darlings about Commonly Confused Words. In fact, I really need to get back to grading the quizzes they took, so I'll leave you with this:
A worksheet involving all the words I've taught the children all year. Test yourself! If you'd like, I'll post the answers in the comments section on Friday! Laterz.

I learned the answer to #7 on Monday in class. Also, I took the test those kids are taking and it was rough.
